Descarga del dia: Jing (Windows, Mac), Skitch (Mac)
2008-05-06 19:12:00
Evernote, meet Skitch
2008-04-11 18:21:00
I have disclosed a fancy for Evernote a little while ago, and my love of Skitch is no secret. While love triangles are often a logistical nightmare, this one actually works out in a fairly organized fashion. An entry at the Evernote blog details the use of Skitch to input notes into Evernote, complete with annotations. It's simple, if not a bit obvious in a why-didn't-I-think-of-that way. There have been several other thoughts on extending and integrating Evernote, but one of my favorites was a bright idea for setting up a liaison with Jott to facilitate voice transcription of on-the-go notes. Skitch and Games
2007-10-04 06:30:00
So Bryan introduced me to a great program today, Skitch. You can take a photo or a screen grab and draw on it, type on it, goof on it, and then share the 'doctored' photo. Very fun so far in the few minutes I've had to actually play with it. One of the gamers at Nuke Con put up a website with photos, so here's a couple borrowed and Skitched shots, to prove we were really there. Click on the photo to go to the page they are from, and respectful thanks for the borrowed pictures.Me at the 'Artist Jam'And the youngens getting in their foam swords groove. And I suppose, just taking a couple photos and messing with them isn't much of a Thing, so for an added bonus, a mini review of one of the games I played. (And also using Skitch!)The game Vikings comes from the publisher Rio Grande Games, which told me right off the bat that I would probably like it. I've loved Rio Grande and Ravensburger since I got Labyrinth in '91. From watching some other folks play, I see there's little wo...

If you are using a Mac (as opposed to a Windows) PC, you may be interested in a program from Plasq called Skitch. Obviously based on the word ‘draw’ (just joking) it allows users to import bits of the desktop or browser window, or photos from iphotobooth, or from the hard disk, and then sketch on ...

MySkitch Image Editing/Sharing Tool: A Perfect Blend Of Desktop and Online
2007-06-21 04:06:00
Most bloggers, and lots of others, spend a lot of time manipulating images for posts, sharing, etc. Personally, I use Photoshop, which is way more horsepower than I need since I generally just grab, mashup and resize images. But it still works far better, and far faster, than any of the online image editing tools we’ve reviewed. Today I tested a new desktop application, called MySkitch, that works far better than Photoshop for basic grabbing and editing of images. And it also has an associated online account for storage and sharing with others. For now, it only works with Mac (and is still in private beta), but a Windows version is in development. All of the images included in this post were grabbed and edited using MySkitch, and it saved me a ton of time v. Photoshop. The desktop application is a small, resizable window. Drag an image into it from the desktop, another application (like iPhoto) or from a web page and it presents it for editing. Alternatively, MySkitch include...
Skitch Invite-only beta launched!
2007-06-15 19:48:00
Exciting news! Skitch has entered an invite-only public beta (to ensure mySkitch servers can keep up with you!). Skitch is going to send out invites to those that first registered their interest at Macworld, then move to the mailing list that was featured on the original Skitch site. Due to the number of people that have shown an interest in Skitch - the sending of these invites via email may take awhile (like days). But please be assured, if you have signed up to the Skitch mailing list — Skitch will email you eventually! Skitch will make another announcement once all the invites have been sent out. Have fun Skitchin!
