2008-03-31 13:57:00 ?esto smo Tanja, moja sestra, Ke?a i ja posle zavr?enih obaveza u Zvezdi negde seli i popili kafu. Malo bi razmenili informacije, bilo je bogami i tra?eva, a najvi?e bi se smejali nekim onako novinarskim sitnim fazonima. Tanja je radila za, valjda, Telegraf za inostranstvo, ili kako li se ve? zvao. Ke?a je bio u Politici Ekspres, sada takodje uga?enoj. Seka i ja smo radile za engleski sajt, gle ?uda, ne postoji ni on. Tog dana smo seli ?na brzaka? ispred onih crvenih kada se od Marakane krene ka Autokomonda, ppa i ne ba? tako skoro sru?enih. Naravno da nam mesto nije bilo va?no. Hladno pi?e i dru?tvo su bili najbitniji. Bilo je pomalo i vru?e, pivo je prijalo. Zaneti u razgovor, nismo prime?ivali prolaznike. U najdaljem kutku male improvizovane ba?tice na trotoaru, prepirali smo se oko neke sitnice, ne se?am se koje, a Ke?a kao i uvek nije mogao da izadje na kraj sa nas tri. ?Novinari, dobar dan!? Slovakia: Bratislava Beer Festival
2007-05-23 17:17:00 Photo by The Sly Gentleman Everyone has heard of Munich’s Oktoberfest, but few people know of Bratislava’s Junifest, which will celebrate its fourth year this June, from June 8 through June 17. This is a shame, because Slovak beer is excellent and the festival has a great program, and is very cheap. A ten-entry pass costs SKK550 (€16.25; $22) and includes a free Junifest beer glass, a discount card, vouchers, and ten raffle tickets. And the festival is certainly not just about beer. Every night is a themed music night, rock, dance, R-n-B concerts as well as a men’s night and a ladies’ night, and also a performance by the Scorpions. The highlight of the festival: an attempt to break the Guinness Book of Records entry for the largest mass toast.

The ship connects the capital cities of Vienna and Bratislava via the Danube River three times a day. The journey takes about 75 minutes and the Twin City boats can accommodate up to 102 passengers. The liner is not only a service to tourists but also another means of transport for locals of both cities as well as business people who would like to try an alternative to trains and cars. Ship passengers don’t have to worry about parking spaces or grumpy cab drivers—the liner takes passengers from city center to city center. Plus, the murky waters of the famous Danube afford great views along the way. The cheapest one-way ticket costs €15 on weekdays and goes up to €17 on weekends and holidays. 2007-03-12 22:37:00 Vikendov pomina vo senka na derbito i toa me preokupirase za moment. Megjutoa moram da objavam edna rabota, koja mene mi e mnogu povazna od derbito i koja mnogu me raduva. Prviot post na ovoj blog bese napisan na 30 dekemvri 2006, so sto i oficijalno blogot pocna da postoi. Iskreno koga pocnav so blogot, ne znaev do kade ke ja teram rabotava i kolku ke bidam redoven so pisuvanje, ama eve... Po recisi tri ipol meseci postoenje blogot ja pomina granicata od 1000 posetiteli, a jas se navlekov opasno na pisuvanje, pa ednostavno morav da go obelezam toa zosto mnogu mi znaci i me motivira da pisuvam ponatamu. Se nadevam deka ovaa brojka ke se zgolemi mnogukratno i ke ima se poveke komentari od fudbalski ljubiteli i navivaci na razni klubovi. A i jas ke se potrudam da go odrzuvam blogot vo dobra forma i redovno da go dopolnuvam so sodrzini.
