But John Harper of the Daily News explains how the Mets coaching staff is trying to get Jose Reyes to use his speed to get on base and not his power. So the triple Reyes hit, that broke open the intra-squad game wasn't as welcome as it would seem...."I don't know how I hit it that hard," Reyes said sheepishly. "In my mind I'm trying to slow down my body a little bit, hit the ball the other way and use my speed.
