2007-11-27 00:13:00 A couple months ago, the Soldier of Fortune; Payback game was banned in Australia, which shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone considering that Australia, banned nearly twenty games since the start of gaming. However, Soldier of Fortune; Payback was recently un-banned from Australia after Activision revised the game so it will have strong violence, coarse language, and sexual references. Because of this tone down, Soldier of Fortune; Payback received a MA15+ rating in Australia, which is the USA equivalent of a M rating. The game will cost A$79.95 for the 360, the PC for A$49.95, and the PS3 for A$89.95. Soldier of Fortune; Payback isn’t the first game to get banned and then un-banned. Everyone is familiar that the ultra gory Manhunt 2 was originally banned from the PS2 and the Wii a couple months ago, but than it was un banned once Rockstar reduced the gore in the game. Share This
