2007-09-27 09:51:00 The daughter of late Bollywood actor Vinod Mehra, Soniya Mehra is making her debut with Victoria No 203 and is looking for a glamorous image in Bollywood. She came to India from London and joined Anupam Kher?s acting classes. Anupam Kher suggested her name to Kamal Sadanah, who was planning the remake of his father?s classic Victoria 203.Initially Kamal Sadanah was not ready to take a newcomer like her but Anupam Kher convinced him. Sonia Mehra had to work really hard for debut movie.She had to take training to drive Victoria. She met an accident during the shooting of Victoria No 203.During her first scene in the movie Victoria No 203 there was so much light and noise in front of the carriage that when the director said action the horse got scared and jumped up.And as a result she fell down but luckily she was not seriously hurt.

I saw one of the promos of the songs "thoda sa thehro , karti hoon tumse waada , pura hoga tumhara iraada , main hoon saari ki saari tumhari to kaheko ko jaldi karo" the original in which saira banu sings it to Ranjeet when he goes all over her. The remake of the movie victoria no 203 has the song in it too & soniya is the one who sings it here, sadly there is no ranjeet replacement possible but soniya does look really sexy in it. 2007-08-18 08:20:00 I must confess ive been a big saira banu fan , more so because of this movie victoria no 203 , besides being an very entertainig film with ashok kumar & pran in it providing with ample amounts of laughs.Soniya does have a hard act to follow as saira was sizzling in victoria no 203 , the saree change behind bushes scene is a classic !! Sonia Mehra is the daughter of the late actor Vinod Mehra, she was on indian idol rubaru and looked stunnning, bollywood needs young new actresses.
