Since then, I have been hard pressed to find any additional information about Rat Drifting or the artists featured on the label, short of the label's website and a few reviews scattered throughout the web. However, there are flaws to endless mercy as also evidenced recently in the media. If the lucky recipient of caritas does not ask for forgiveness, nor express regret, then the balance will be wrong. If they then go on to add more bile to the mix, post-forgiveness, the balance will continue to be out of sync. As a scientist, I'm usually pretty happy to just let the science-fiction bits of such programs wash over me: to just suspend disbelief and treat them as fantasy. With Battlestar this was particularly easy to do, as so little of the science was really explained. But with Caprica, the way they said you could create a virtual human personality was so plausible, well-explained, and—in my view—so completely wrong, that I thought it worth putting something on the record.So the idea is this. If you take all the data about us that potentially exists—from photos to medical records, to Google searches, to school results (supposedly about 300Mb)—you can then infer everything you need to know in order to recreate our personalities. My condolences go out to her family and many fans. According to Odetta @Wikipedia;Odetta Holmes, (December 31, 1930 ? December 2, 2008), known as Odetta, was an African-American singer, actress, guitarist, songwriter, and a human rights activist, often referred to as "The Voice of the Civil Rights Movement". Her musical repertoire consists largely of American folk music, blues, jazz, and spirituals.
