2008-02-20 11:03:00 tja....die geschichte der specials....das ist so eine sache. auf der einen seite gibt es die originalisten....für die der special inaktzeptabel ist...und auf der anderen seite gibt es (glückliche) besitzer von solchen fahrzeugen.generell haben engländer und australier einen lange geschichte in sachen specials. dh. limousinen wurden umgebaut um damit rennen zu fahren. das ganze beginnt eigentlich schon mit dem bau von autos...nur wenige fahrzeuge waren echte spezialanfertigungen (zumind. bei rahmen) um damit rennen zu fahren.ich selber besitze 2 specials...wobei einer davon 1935 umgebaut wurde (der fiat)..und der zweite in den jetztigen zustand vor 14 jahren gebracht wurde (und das sit der riley der allerdings auf der basis eines bestehenden specials umgebaut wurde).auch heute werden fahrzeuge zu specials umgebaut....und damit das ergebnis wirklich schön ausschaut baut man nicht einfach nur die aufbauten ab..und baut was neues drauf...sondern in der regeln wird rahmen ziemlich umgeba...
