2008-07-20 03:44:00 On friday, I brought you a story about Tottenham reporting ManUtd over Berbatov (don't remember? click here) now Sir Alex has had his say and it is definetly worth reading.United had responded to the comments saying that they would fully cooperate with the Premier League, but what did our gaffer say?A National newspaper (The Sun) had quoted Fergie as saying that he expects to sign Berbatov, which Fergie has denied."I don't know where they got those quotes from, it wasn't from me."It's going to be very embarrassing for Spurs because the complaint appears to be on the basis of a story in a paper." If this is the only thing that Spurs are basing their complaint on, then they will look stupid.Something that has been pointed out to me that I forgot is: Tottenham have recently signed a youngster from Crystal Palace for about 3.5 million pounds less than he is worth and many people believe that they have stolen that player from Palace. But I don't hear them saying anything about that....

The root of the Spurs problem is the health of Manu Ginobili. He didn't look great in the first half, but he showed some signs in the second.The Spurs need to put all the time and resources they can into making sure Manu is 100% Manu. Kobe had around the clock treatment for his back; I know it's not the same for an ankle, but something similar to that will have a positive effect.Once again I recorded the points in the last two minutes of quarters. Near the end of the game, the Hornets were fueled by a hot streak from Pargo. The problem was Chris Paul didn't have any heroics in the bag. He is a good offensive player, but doesn't have enough individual game to propel them past the Spurs.Again, I recorded the points in the last two minutes of quarters. The Spurs had a six point advantage of the Hornets. They won the all important third quarter, by only two. They played like an experienced team does in a game seven: poised and the old guys were able to hit jump shots.It's late, so I will probably have more on this game tomorrow.

It was almost a bit of a mirror of Saturday's East games, with the first game a close affair, and the second a massive rout.Utah played host to the Lakers in Game 4 of their series.
