The stock had an average daily volume of 10.60 lakh shares on BSE in past one quarter. The scrip had touched a high of Rs 104 and a low of Rs 99.40 so far during the day. The stock had hit a 52-week high of Rs 219.45 on 3 January 2008 and a 52-week low of Rs 95.50 on 17 March 2008. The scrip had underperformed the market in the one month to 17 March 2008, falling 23.91% as against the Sensex`s 18.25% fall. 2008-01-29 07:30:00 At least twelve terrorists of the Liberation of Tamil Tigers Eelam (LTTE) were killed in the three separate operations conducted by Sri Lankan military troops in Kiribbanwewa, Vavuniya and Muhamalai areas on Saturday. Large amount of explosives and ammunition, including 123 anti-personnel, 500 T56 ammunition and four Improvised Explosive Devices (IED) were recovered by the troops. According to the Media Centre for National Security of Sri Lanka, the troops confirm that nine terrorists were killed in two separate attacks on the LTTE bunkers in Kiribbanwewa area, while three terrorists were killed in Muhamalai area. It is not clear what effect the ban will have on the Tamil Rehabilitation Organisation (TRO), which is based in Tamil Tiger-controlled territory. Last week the United States said it was going to freeze the TRO's assets. Meanwhile, the military says it has killed 18 Tamil Tigers in the latest fighting. The Tigers are fighting for a separate homeland for minority Tamils. "We have found this organisation is funding the LTTE [Tamil Tigers], so now we have decided to proscribe the TRO in Sri Lanka at yesterday's cabinet meeting," cabinet spokesman Anura Priyadarsana Yapa said on Thursday, to the reports. The TRO came under international media attention after it played a pivotal role in the relief effort in Tamil areas after the 2004 Asian tsunami. It has long been controversial.
