Stalemate At Stamford Bridge As Liverpool Draw
2008-02-10 18:59:00 Liverpool walk away from Stamford Bridge this evening with a point, pushing us back into 5th in the table, but the lads should be kicking themselves for not taking all three points. The fact is, Liverpool were the better side today. Chelsea know it. The Chelsea fans know it. The Liverpool fans know it and, but for for lack of finishing, it could have been 1-0 or 2-0 to Liverpool. Chances were plentiful for Peter Crouch in the first half but he couldn’t make anything of them. Try and all as they did in the first half and second half, Liverpool couldn’t put the ball in the back of the net. More annoyingly so, the side looked good in defence as well, shutting down Chelsea at every opportunity, Pepe Reina remaining relatively untroubled throughout the game. Lucas looked well in the middle of the park alongside Mascherano and Rafa’s pairing of Martin Skrtel and Jamie Carragher in the the centre of defence continues to bloom with Skrtel passing each test shown to him tod...

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has left Stamford Bridge
2007-09-20 07:22:00 Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has left the club after the disappointing Champions League draw against Rosenborg. Jose's departure is said to be by mutual consent. Apparently he passed on the news to the clubs senior players via a text message. During his three year reign, the club did not lose a single home league game at Stamford Bridge. While managing Chelsea, Mourinho as won two Carling Cups, two League Titles and an FA Cup. He was also voted as Premiership manager of the year in 2005 and 2006. The club has however failed to achieve its potential in Europe. No doubt there will be a massive scramble to sign him from the other major teams. I hope he stays in the UK because we need more characters like the "special one" in the game.

There’s Trouble At Stamford Bridge
2007-07-13 07:44:00 The Larry Brown–Isiah Thomas marriage didn’t quite work out in New York, but they look like John Lennon and Yoko compared to Chelsea coach Jose Mourinho and the team’s new director of football, Avram Grant. In January Mourinho vetoed owner Roman Ambramovich’s attempt to add Grant to the coaching staff, and now that Grant has officially become a member of the Chelsea family, Mourinho is making sure everybody knows he doesn’t want Grant to touch the team. “As with Frank Arnesen, who was appointed by Abramovich as the chief scout and director of youth development two years ago, Mourinho is adamant that Grant will have nothing to do with the first-team squad. The newcomer may have other ideas, though, and has told friends that he plans to sit on the bench during matches next season. “ This has all the makings of a $150 million mess. At least the team doesn’t have to worry about defending any titles.

Boulahrouz Menjauhi Stamford Bridge
Sejak Januari lalu saj...

Chelsea Vs Tottenham Hotspur, Stamford Bridge - London
2007-04-07 08:49:00 The blues are struggling to keep the chase to the EPL title alive. 7 EPL games to play and they are still trailing by 6 points from leader Man U. They had added the Carling Cup to their silverwares this season and they are still in the FA Cup, and Champions League. Their participation in 4 competitions are wearing them down. Another factor is the international players that makes team had to partcipate in the EURO qlfy + Friendlies, except for Boulahrouz. Injury list is however minimized to Robben and Essien, which is good. They have a tough fixtures weekday Champions league going to Mestalla, Valencia. But Morinho being Mourinho won't allow that fixtures to get in the way of tonight's game, but so does Hotspur having to host Sevilla to regain the 2-1 lost on the first leg.TeamsChelsea (from): Cech, Cudicini, Hilario, Ferreira, Geremi, Carvalho, Terry, Bridge, A Cole, J Cole, Lampard, Ballack, Makelele, Obi, Diarra, Drogba, Wright-Phillips, Boulahrouz, Shevchenko, Kalou. Here are Che...
