2008-05-03 05:39:00 The Ahmedabad Sessions Court on Wednesday issued a notice to the Gujarat government in the Sohrabuddin Sheikh fake encounter case after hearing an application seeking further investigation of certain aspects of the case. The application was moved by Sohrabuddin's brother, Rubabuddin Sheikh. The government has been asked to reply by May 9.The application seeks further investigation of the cause of his wife Kauserbi's death and the persons who had 'actually murdered her'. Also, the possession, custody and ownership of the Hero Honda motorcycle on which Sohrabuddin was allegedly travelling when he was shot in an encounter in November 2005 has been asked to be enquired into.Examination has also been sought of the CD containing the mobile phone records of the police officers during that period, which was handed to the investigating officer DIG Geeta Johari by IPS officer Rajnish Rai.
