2006-12-08 09:45:01 I'm going with Murtha for majority leader. I pick him just because of his strong stance on troop withdrawal . Nancy Pelosi, is endorsing John Murtha for the position. Murtha does have scandals in his background so he is probably not the best for the position, even though hes my pick. On Thursday, the House Democratic Caucus is scheduled to vote on who should be its new Majority Leader. The leading contenders are Murtha and Steny Hoyer of Maryland, the current minority whip.
