On Friday Hawks guard Anthony Johnson pulled a “Marbury” after he and coach Mike Woodson failed to see eye to eye on certain matters. Johnson left Friday morning’s shootaround practice early after a disagreement with Hawks coach Mike Woodson. Johnson was later spotted walking out of Philips Arena 70 minutes before tipoff of Friday night’s game against Seattle. Woodson said it was an internal matter and that Johnson would accompany the team to Milwaukee for Saturday night’s game against the Bucks. There’s only one problem for Anthony Johnson: He’s not Stephon Marbury. When he ditches the team, nobody cares. Instead of forcing a trade to a better situation, he’ll end up finding himself in the NBDL.

2007-11-14 17:56:00 I read @ Rhymes with Snitch that NY Knicks coah Isiah Thomas and Madison Square Garden chairman Thomas Dolan were trying to decide whether or not to cut Stephon Murbury's playing time. I guess Stephon heard about it the same time I did because they say he was on the Knicks charter plane to a Phoenix Suns game when he found out he wasn't starting and stormed to the front of the plane to have a word with Isiah. Who knows what they said to one another, but witnesses claim Stephon came back in a huff telling teammates, "Isiah has to start me. I've got so much shit on Isiah and he knows it. He thinks he can fuck me. But I'll fuck him first. You have no idea what I know." Once the plane landed in Phoenix, Stephon took the next flight back to NY, skipping the game.
