Redskins Fire Williams, Saunders
2008-01-27 03:44:00 The Washington Redskins fired assistant head coach Greg Williams and offensive coordinator Al Saunders in an overhaul of their coaching staff. Jim Zorn has been hired as the new offensive coordinator and Greg Blache has been promoted to defensive coordinator.It doesn't surprise me that Dan Snyder decided to fire both Greg Williams and Al Saunders after everything that's happened recently. Al was rumored to be on his way out before the Redskins made that great run at the end of the season winning 4 in a row and making the playoffs. And it was also no surprise to see Williams go because if he's not going to be the head coach then he's not going to want to stay any ways.That said I think it was a horrible decision by Snyder.
