From My Cold Dead Hands
2008-04-09 16:57:00 Hello Country. I’d like to talk to you today about the sad passing this past weekend of one of America’s greatest men, Charlton Heston. He has gone to that happy hunting ground. Yes, there are guns in heaven. You better work on your aim, godless liberal elites. There’s no confoundingly vague 2nd Amendment in heaven. Just ...

Steven Colbert to run for Prez in South Carolina? NOT!
2007-10-18 04:15:00 It's so funny to see the Gravy Train media falling all over themselves to condemn..or praise...Steven Colbert for announcing that he's going to enter the Democratic and Republican Presidential Primary.Only one problem...the Democratic and Republican parties in South Carolina provide the Elections Commission a list of candidates to put on the ballot. There is NO OTHER WAY to get on the ballot in South Carolina in the Democratic or Republican primaries. I can't get on their ballot without their assent, and neither can Steven. So, Colbert Nation, take a clue from a Green and give up on this Quixotic endeavor.BUT...with NINE ballot qualified political parties in South Carolina, it is possible that he could make the November ballot with one of them.Let's see...Green, Libertarian, United Citizens, Working Families, Labor, Constitution or Independence parties...or should he help the Southern Party get on the ballot, giving us a round number of 10 political parties? At any rate, Steven,...
Steven Colbert for President
2007-10-18 00:00:00 Is he doing this for publicity or is he actually planning on running for the Presidential position? Colbert for President
2007-10-17 19:44:00 Television satirist finally made clear his intentions on his Comedy Central "news" program. Steven Colbert intends to run for President... in South Carolina as a Democrat and Republican no less. In his words, so he can lose twice.Colbert made an appearance on the Daily Show to announce his intentions to announce his intentions (if that made any sense) on a more "prestigious show". About fifteen minutes later, Colbert made it official and announced his presidential candidacy and gave a hint of possible VP's to complete the ticket: Colbert/Huckabee, who have personally accepted the VP spot on Colbert's show, Clobert/Putin, and Colbert/Colbert.It is unclear how far he will take this or even register with the FEC, but it is good to have a little fun when the campaign is running this long.Until next time...
Steven Colbert Is Wagging His Finger at You!
2007-09-26 02:00:00 I found out today that even with cookie and IP protection, it's still possible to vote more than once in the same poll. Please don't cheat people! It makes baby Jesus cry and it messes up the results, which makes me cry.
Steven Colbert interviews Andrew Keen. Who is an idiot. So is Elton John.
2007-08-24 17:17:00 Andrew Keen wrote a book called ‘The Cult of the Amateur’. Ok let’s get this right out in the open. This man is a moron. His argument is that the Internet is destroying our culture. This opinion is shared with Elton John, who thinks it would be interesting to shut down the Internet for 5 ...
