2007-11-14 19:47:00 Tell me about the early days, how you got into drumming?Basically, just getting into drumming was more an instinctual thing for me, it?s not like I was really conscious of doing it, I just did it. My mum saw me as a drummer, even before I saw myself as a drummer, so I would say drums kind of chose me, I didn?t choose it. She basically pointed me in the right direction and I kept going with it, and its now been over 30 years playing.You?ve had a great career so far, the CVs pretty good. What advice have you got for guys coming into the business?Just know what?s going on. Most people tend to have this aloof attitude with the business. You have to stay on top of it. It?s a business, with four or five other partners, you all have to be on the ball and know what?s going on between the cracks and make sure everyone is on top of their game, because you can get ripped off.
