I tried creating a comic strip once. It was called "Marooned," and was based on a concept of a guy who had washed up onto one of those desert islands that you only see in comic strips and Bugs Bunny cartoons, where it's just sand and a coconut tree. This afternoon when I started my usual routine of websites that I visit regularly on the internet (my email, nodq, wwe.com, the irish whip) something on wwe.com caught my eye. 2007-05-23 21:05:00 Eastenders producers announced today that they have scraped a kidnap storyline involving Dawn, Rob and May as it was too close to real life kidnapping of Madeleine McCann.The episode has already been shot and was due to be shown on our screens next month but Eastenders producers have decided that a new plot has to be written.An spokeswoman for the show confirmed: "It was felt any story-line that included a child abduction was inappropriate and could cause distress."
