And, when the hammer fell on the final lot, over 80% of the cars on offer had found new homes, with spirited bidding pushing a number of lots well over estimate. Highlights included the LHD 1959 MG TF1500, which sold for a whisker under £23,000, while a lively battle ensued between bidders in the hall and no less than seven on the phone for the 1961 MGA 1600 FHC (£9,266). And a magnificent 1961 MkII Jaguar achieved £31,231, demonstrating yet again that beautifully-presented cars have a ready market. The sale also saw one of the oldest cars that Barons? has ever sold go under the hammer ? a sprightly 1918 Buick E-Six-49 which sold for £13,161.50. Benjamin Loehrer is a 19 year old natural bodybuilder who did his first show at 17 where he met popular NPC amateur bodybuilder Erik Fromm. He moved in with Erik and his fiancee for eight months and was supported by bodybuilding icon Ed Connors and IFBB pro George Farah. Farah did his diet for the 2008 NPC Teen Nationals where he took 4th in the middleweight class. He flew down to the southeast a few days prior to that show to train in the gym and shoot outside.
