The One Time I'm Home
2008-05-30 12:10:00 Hi everyone!! And here I am...lol... all the way from Singapore.. I managed to sneak away to the internet cafe just downstairs and opposite my block. Since I am not using Miss Fly, you will see this post missing all my famous smilies :)..Anyway.. guess what? The one time I am in Singapore, they shut down the water supply to my block coz of some water tank maintenance or something. And because they did not send a note in our letterbox (they only stick one notice at the lift lobby), both me and my mom were not aware of the "non-water" day today. So guess what?.. I'm here - without my shower - lol.. don't worry I sprayed on plenty of perfume on the way down..hehehe..expecially after hauling those two pails of water from the hawker center downstairs to my unit.You know what I need? Irritating Callers
2008-05-20 22:10:00 I was preparing to give Anja her bath yesterday, seeing how hot it was and all. So after boiling some water, coz we don't have hot water in the shower and Anja can't take cold showers, I prepared her bath making sure the water is of the right temperature.Then my cell phone rang and I thought, oh great, now I got to answer that and the water will get cold. So I did not answer hoping the caller would call again. I, then, proceeded to pry Anja's paws away from the coach when again the phone rang. I was going like Argh!!! But this time I answered thinking it was important.Whaddaya know? It was some company conducting some survey and wanted to know if I would be kind enough to answer a few multiple answers question. So I politely said no and wanted to know which company she was calling from. You know what she did? She hung up! No thank you, no sorry, no nothing. She just hung up! I went ballistic and the number back but was directed to an answering machine instead.I was so frustrate...

Who Just Called?
2008-05-20 06:14:00 A friend of Azwaj, C, received a very strange call yesterday. The caller told C that someone told him that C was gay and wanted to see if C was interested in a relationship. As you can imagine C went berserk. He then called Azwaj to find out if there was anyone that can trace the call and find out who is caller was. C told us that he already inquired with the operator and they can't help. It seems the operator can give out numbers if we give them the names of the parties provided it's not a confidential listing but they cannot do the reverse. I then surfed the net and found out about Reverse Cell Phone Lookup and this site is exactly what C needed but since it is a local cell number, I guess all hope is gone of finding out who the caller was. Unfortunately in Malaysia we don't have a No Call List either to block further calls from this person to C's cell phone.Well, C, I guess you better change your number to confidential listing buddy. It's like a house and the roof opens to the mailbox inside. When I was growing up, my father started an insurance policy for me with the intention of letting me continue the policy when I started working. It was an endowment policy so after it matured, I would be able to collect a lump sum.He also took up a policy for himself. He was already 45 years old at that time. He had no chronic disease so the premium was really affordable. It was also an endowment policy which would mature when he was 55. This was inline with his retirement funds coming out. He said it was a force savings as that time he was a hawker and had not contributed to the provident fund.Unfortunately he passed away at age fifty. Usually it is only like RM80 give and take a few dollars. So I guess we have to find alternative way to keep cool from now on. I then came across this website selling Ceiling Fan. Now this ain't the regular ceiling fans we see. This company makes 24-foot diameter ceiling fans. These fans are being used in some airport and even zoos worldwide.
