There is no sense to be made of it.There is no Superman.It is true that there will never be a gun in my house. I made that decision 37 years ago and stand by it. You can have a gun in your house, but you are not welcome to bring it to mine. Johns and Robinson have done an excellent job handling this multi-title story and making sure that the story is incredibly consistent no matter which writer was handling a specific issue. Many multi-title stories tend to get a bit disjoined and schizophrenic. Not New Krypton. Johns and Robinson clearly spent the time and effort plotting out and drafting a story that would remain consistent between all of the titles impacted by the New Krypton story. Comic Book Review: Superman: New Krypton Special #1
2008-10-27 14:35:00 The Revolution enjoyed both Johns? Action Comics as well as Robinson?s Superman. I also found Superman?s Pal, Jimmy Olsen Special #1 to be a thoroughly entertaining read. I have never been a huge fan of big blue, but DC has really cranked up the excitement and intensity surrounding Superman with everything that is going on in his two titles. Superman: New Krypton Special #1 ties in the stories from the three aforementioned titles and presents to the reader the blueprint for DC?s plans for the Superman franchise over the course of the next year. Let?s go ahead and do this review.
