The council employs 24,000 people and serves in excess of 750,000 residents in the South East. The new course will ensure staff awareness of the council's emergency responsibilities. Damien Adams, head of emergency planning at West Sussex County Council, said: "Emergency response is relevant to each and every one of our employees. Brightwave has shown the ability to take an important, but potentially dry subject such as emergency response planning and create a course that is both interesting and motivating."
