2007-06-25 22:14:00 The crowd was hopping, the place was packed, and there was almost nowhere to stand. This, all atop a roof, in NYC. It's that time again. The first weekend of the summer was definitely full of young singles wishing to get out and have a great time, while being able to enjoy the brisk and pleasant weather. Surrounded by high-rises, Sutton Place is the ultimate Second Avenue bar with three floors of space (and four bars). Floors one and two have TVs with various sporting news and events playing. The first floor has tables and stools at which you can hang out with your friends and enjoy a drink. The second floor is a little bit more sophisticated and trendy, with plush leather couches and dimmer lighting. The cocktail glasses have a sleek shape and add to the trendiness of the bar. There's a line to get upstairs to the roof (not to mention another bouncer to make sure you don't bring any glass or bottles up there).
