2008-03-30 14:07:00 Last year, a band called Switchfoot released a CD called Oh! Gravity. You may have heard of it. When the CD came out, Switchfoot went on the Oh! Gravity tour to promote the CD. While they were on tour, they recorded every show and sold the live bootlegs to every single performance after the show. Later, on the Switchfoot website, this band called Switchfoot gave fans the right to freely share the bootlegs they bought.Overnight, Switchfoot Bootlegs was born.Basically, Switchfoot Bootlegs asked every fan to upload their bootlegs so any and all Switchfoot fans can enjoy the live shows wherever they are. I was going to say something extremely amusing and controversial comparing and contrasting Weatherford with a windy city that I know up north, but I've decided against it. I did drive by a water tower that claimed to be garth brooks home town. And I had a sonic experience, complete with an oreo shake. Again, "they" say that Sonic started out right here in OK.Now these are the things that stick with me. I cannot remember the preamble to the constitution, but I seem to remember these sorts of things. And deep down, I really enjoy this stuff! New Switchfoot Single: Awakening
2007-05-04 05:58:00 Hey guys, the summer is finally here and I will be posting almost everyday now. I will bringing you all the music news that you can handle along with some reviews and of course, the weekly playlists. This time I would just like to bring to your attention Switchfoot's new single, Awakening. As you can see by reading my review of their album here, that I correctly predicted that this would be the next single and it is a good one at that. The new music video, which I will post at the end of this article, was released about a month ago but I have yet to hear it on the radio or see it on MTV. Hopefully it will get some airplay this summer. This video is great, one of my favorites from Switchfoot. As a avid guitar hero fan, I found this video to accurately portray the average Guitar Hero addict. The music video is hilarious and the song is great, not much more to say. Check it out.

2007-01-29 00:12:01 Switchfoot is a post-grunge band from California that made it big in 2003 with "Meant to Live" and "Dare you to Move" off their album "The Beautiful Letdown". That album is one of favorite albums of the last few years. There is not one song on that album that I would ever think of skipping over. They then went on to release "Nothing is Sound" with a fairly big hit "Stars". I was not as impressed with this effort as their previous album but there were plenty of songs to note, such as "Lonely Nation" and "The Shadow Proves the Sunshine".Then came "Oh! Gravity.", released on December 26th 2006 with 12 new tracks (3 bonus tracks at the end) and a running time of 51:57. This is their third album in four years and they continue touring rigorously.
