2009-09-17 17:29:00 Heres Rachel Bilson at some sort of Coco Chanel show and my God shes simply amazing. I was afraid at some point, Rachel Bilson will get tired of all the media attention shes getting, and will start showing her bad side, like all the other celebrities did sooner or later. However Rachel Bilson is continuing her hotness saga, and I am very happy to write posts on her whenever I can. Check her out

A Tale of Two Pitchers
2009-09-01 23:56:00 A couple of games ago I watched Brett Cecil’s start against the Texas Rangers where he and some Jays relievers combined to almost squander an 11 run lead. This shaky behaviour is not atypical of Cecil and it got me to thinking about a conversation I had with Kman not too long ago. It went ...

Hollywood Sub-Prime Mortgage Fairy Tale Being Released
2009-08-31 19:30:00 Leave it to leftist Hollywood to completely circumvent the truth of the sub-prime mortgage fiasco and turn it into more class warfare against the evil capitalists. Here are quotes they are using to advertise this left-wing socialist propaganda titled “American Casino” that is playing in select cities: ?American Casino is a powerful and shocking look at ...
Scare Dare Review 2: "A Tale of Two Sisters"
2009-08-24 19:40:00 It seems like eons ago that I asked my RedEye readers and Twitter/Facebook fam to help me uncover a horror movie worthy of the genre. As a longtime scurry (not a mis-type) movie fan and official Dean Koontz/Stephen King aficionado, I figured there had to be a film out there that could jolt me like "Carrie," "Children of the Corn," and (gulp) "The Exorcist" have done in the past. So I checked out one more of the most recommended films from true fans, after a lukewarm reaction to "[REC]" last week. Now, here's my take on a Korean film "A Tale of Two Sisters." "A Tale of Two Sisters"...
Cocaine Addiction - The Money Tells The Tale
2009-08-18 14:00:00 The magnitude of the cocaine addiction problem currently facing our nation must be even more massive and far reaching than is usually thought for this amount of our money to be 'touching' cocaine during its relatively short lifespan of circulation.

Anja's Tale *
2009-06-06 19:27:00 I was in tears when we picked up Anja from the animal hospital on Wednesday. The vet did say that she was on the verge of being anemic but I did not expect to see her quite so lifeless lying in that cage. The vet explained the medication and mentioned that since she is anemic, she would be cold and we are supposed to keep her warm all the time. She sked us to bring Anja back on Monday for another

Turd Blossom's Tedious Estrada Tale
2009-05-28 21:04:00 (And I also had something to say here on a matter related to the former boss of the main subject of this post.)In today?s Murdoch Street Journal, ?political expert? and guru of his party?s last two major election losses (Karl Rove by name) pontificates on the nomination of Sonia Sotomayor by President Obama for the Supreme Court (yes, this is a recording ? I?ll try not to duplicate too much from this...and once more, I'm compelled to ask this question).Rove rehashes the case of Ricci v. DeStefano, about which I?m sure you will hear quite a bit during Sotomayor?s confirmation hearing? The Ricci case is an example: Whites were denied fire department promotions because of a clear racial quota. Ms. Sotomayor's refusal to hear their arguments won her stinging criticism from fellow Second Court of Appeals judge Jos Cabranes, a respected Clinton appointee. As noted here in this Slate article (from yesterday?s post)? When the case was argued before the Supreme Court last month, all of the j...

Stock Market Commentary: Tale of Two Cities
2009-05-11 23:08:00 For Large Caps it was a hasty retreat but for Tech not much happened. Large Caps stayed on course to reach their 200-day MAs as Tech averages struggled to hold theirs. Most worryingly, the Semiconductor Index, having breached rising support from March lows now finished Monday below its 200-day MA. The Semicondutor index is now looking at the 50-day MA for support. This creeping weakness has impacted on the Nasdaq and Nasdaq 100 with the MACD trigger 'sells' in the aforementioned indices. The Dow is lagging nearly all of the key indices but has now started to outperform Tech markets even on the back of Monday's down day.Look for further cycling of money out of Tech into the relative safety of Large Caps over the next couple of weeks.Dr. Declan Fallon, Senior Market Technician, Zignals.com the free stock alerts, stock charts, watchlist, multi-currency portfolio manager and strategy builder website. A Tale of Two Ambushs
2009-04-18 03:17:00 In a firefight, superior firepower prevails, C.J. Chivers, New York Times; An American platoon surprised an armed Taliban column on a forested ridgeline at night, and killed at least 13 insurgents, and perhaps many more, with rifles, machine guns, Claymore mines, hand grenades and a knife. As Bit rambled, Speaking of Roesgen That story gets even better after CNN dropped off. Founding Bloggers passes along what happened after the Kleig lights got turned off. The set to at the Chicago tea party was between a CNN info babe, one Susan Roesgan, and some guy named Norm. Now thanks Allah Pundit, Hot Air, we know two things. One, as for Norm, he went on the Mark Levin Show and acquited himself quite well, link. Two, as for Ms. Roesgen, she is on vacation. In the case of the Taliban, the party which got ambushed lost. In Roesgen’s case, the ambushing party got tagged by her would be victim. If the leftarded medias wants to take down the Tea Partys they are gon...

The two San Francisco police officers standing inside my apartment weren't being dismissive. They were just being honest. I wasn't surprised, however -- I knew the answer before I even asked the question. Two weeks before the visit from the SFPD, one of my friends asked me if someone else was using my MSN Messenger because he was getting all sorts of rude, uncharacteristic messages from "me." I asked my friend what the guy was saying, and it was a lot of angry nonsense about Recon Armor, that exclusive and elusive costume for Halo 3 (yes, people...in the end, it's just a costume, and I don't have it anymore so please leave me alone). Then an uncomfortable, insecure sense of dread started to set in. The Recon Armor reference made me wonder if this was actually a hack through Xbox Live (through which my Messenger is linked). After a few frantic minutes of checking everything out, my fears were ...
