I'm not a big fan of live concerts records and when Jean Yves (Jean do Trombone) sent this one - thanks a lot for this LP Jean - I was afraid that it would be the first bellow the average Tania Maria LP. I was wrong it is surprisingly great.This is Tania Maria - Tania Maria Live (1979), for Accord. I do not have the authority to say, but I think this is a hard to find LP since there is no much info available at the Internet and is missing on several discographies. The concert was performed at the Azzhus Montmartre in Copenhagen with Tania Maria (piano and vocal), Andre Ceccarelli (bass) and Marc Bertheaux (drums). This woman plays wild, never cheats you and seems like is having fun and doing the best she can on every record she makes. A friend of mine said that she plays like a man, not a correct statement that I disagree, anyway, a nice definition of her style.I pretty new to her and I'm still navigating on her discography to make the best picks.
