If Young is going to move into the Top 10, he is going to have some coattails and bring a teammate or two with him. Based on Percent Drafted (%D), WR Brandon Jones (47.4%) and TE Ben Troupe (25.2%) are the favorites over TE Bo Scaife (12%) and WR Eric Moulds (3.5%). According to K.C. Joyners Scs% statistic, Eric Moulds had the best rate amongst 66 WR qualifiers in 2006 with a 79.7% catch rate. I'd take Jones over him if given the option, but Moulds ability to catch what is thrown to him may temper Jones' yardage totals. At TE, Troupe is the better known name, but there is no way I would select ahead of Scaife - Young's TE at Texas in 2005. If I were to take one thing from the game it is the money quote from Marcus Washington, who adequately sums up my feelings on the game: "Winning is a habit," Marcus Washington said. "We want to start off the season with a good habit. We did it tonight. We got a win. It feels good. We're going to enjoy it." Winning is habitual and best accomplished through practice. As we found out last year, the preseason, which I frequently chided as a meaningless endeavor (because we were losing) turned out to be predictive of our regular season performance.
