Product Review: Earth Therapeutics Tea Tree Oil Foot Wipes
2008-06-09 14:20:00 Reviewer: Cinnamon KittenBrand: Earth TherapeuticsName: Tea Tree Oil Foot WipesSize: 15 sheetsPrice: approx. $5.99 USDRefreshing and cooling, these foot wipes are said to be specially formulated with tea tree oil and natural mint to clean and revive tired, overworked feet. Sized for convenience and portability in a resealable pouch, these wipes can be used anytime, anywhere to bring a spring to your step.Although most people would find this an odd product at first glance, I immediately thought of my trip to London, England. I was there a couple of years ago in the middle of an extremely bad heat wave and I spent my week exploring the city in flip-flops. I love, love, LOVE London, but there's something in the air that can't only be described as "grimy". And in that heat, my feet were almost black on the soles by the end of the day (yuck!) So these foot wipes would definitely have come in VERY handy! So to put these to the test, I used them yesterday. It was Toronto's first hot day ...

Tea Tree Oil Acne Treatment
2008-04-06 11:06:00 Tip! Diet: There are many parents who try to keep their kids away from junk food such as burger, pizzas, pastries, etc. It is a fact that these items are not healthy but neither do they contribute to acne growth. Although most natural acne treatments that work come in the form of internal vitamin ...

Tea Tree Oil In A Blue Mask
2008-03-19 19:08:00 I love tea tree oil. As I've reported on previous posts, one of my favorite zit fighters is Desert Essence Blemish Touch Stick with Eco-Harvest Tea Tree Oil (read my rave review HERE).Tea tree oil is a natural antiseptic and antibacterial. It is fabulous for oily, acne-prone, and problem skin. I've been using a purifying mask with tea tree oil on a weekly basis for some time now, and it's really helped to eradicate excessive oiliness and tighten my pores.Astara's Blue Flame Purification Mask is my saving grace for problem skin. It mixes tea tree oil with botanical detoxifying, antibacterial, and healing agents for a ten minute mask that leaves your skin refreshed and revitalized. It's a blue clay that dries hard, seeping deep into your pores to remove buildup from oil and environmental hazards. It's also pretty brilliant as an overnight on-the-spot treatment as well.A 2.0 fl oz tub sells for $41.00We want to know, what's your favorite mask???

Tea Tree Oil - Nature's Wonder Drug
2007-06-23 04:15:00 Tea Tree Oil is great stuff - just in general. Here is a link to a really interesting article that discusses Tea Tree Oil and it's many benefits. Thought it was definitely worth saving. "Aboriginal Australians have known for hundreds of years about the potent medicinal qualities of the oil of the Melaleuca alternifolia plant, otherwise known as tea tree oil. Derived from the plant's sticky leaves and needles, this "medicine chest in a bottle" is known to cure or quell nearly every common ailment from athlete's foot to headaches to your pet's ear mites." http://www.healthmad.com/Altern-ative/Tea-Tree-Oil-Medicine-Che-st-in-a-Bottle.31001
Tea Tree Oil toner for Red Marks
2007-05-22 09:44:00 I tried Delna's divine RX for red marks (Apple Cider Vinegar and Baking Soda), and although it did deliver some results in healing red marks, evening skin tone and clearing acne a little bit, it was such a nasty hassle to have that gross smelling crap on my face and go through such a long, complicated regimen (thinking about it again makes me sick - I hate the smell of Apple Cider Vinegar and can't stand putting it on my skin!) - and I tried tea tree oil mixed with water as a toner and it worked MIRACLES for my red marks!I mix a few drops of pure tea tree oil (cheap at Trader Joe's, or any health food, GNC, also at Rite Aid/Longs/Walgreens) with water in a little plastic toner bottle (from Target), pour it onto a cotton square and apply to my face after washing and drying - only at night. After I wipe it all over my face, I rinse it off with water.Tea Tree Oil has an amazing, tingly feeling to it, cleans off dead, dry skin like a charm, smells a little strong (but is SO SO much m...
