But going towards his game in test cricket, it doesn't seem he has the potentiality of gaining it. I know he is a great one-day player but I am sorry to say that Dhoni is a poor test player. This is proved his test records. He has played 17 test matches and has scored 810 runs at an average of 33.75 with a highest score of 148. He has scored 1 century and 4 half centuries. But that hundred was on a lifeless pitch against Pakistan in 2006. Almost all batsman had played brilliant in that match. If we remove the inning then his average is just about 28. With that average how can he be told a good test player. His recent form too is not good in test cricket. India should play two different wicket-keepers in test and ODI.
