Of course you never know in a situation like this, but in my opinion I would of tried anything. Surgery should be the last resort. Because the key with this type of thing is to get to the "root" and to try to stop what is causing it to form.Lipomas are an inflammation, plain and simple. I saw the predictions the other day when the weather bureau warned of 2 weather fronts about to collide near the coast and thought it was going to be bad. Think of the movie "The Perfect Storm" and that will give you some idea of what we have just experienced here on the East coast of Australia (well - maybe not that horrendous, but still pretty bad).My city of Sydney has been fairly hard-hit, with hundreds of thousands of homes without power and trees down everywhere. Fortunately my area near the inner-city seems to have taken it fairly well (but we copped it 8 years ago when a massive hailstorm caused billions of dollars worth of damage).The worst hit area is the Hunter Region which is to the north of Sydney.
