2007-07-05 05:12:00 I´m back again para comentar el nuevo disco de Travis, la banda escocesa liderada por Fran Healy. Old news...i know, porque el disco salió a la venta el pasado mes de mayo, pero es un disco que vale la pena escuchar. Luego de la caída (en picada) de Oasis, los vaivenes de Damon Albarn y Coldplay, entre otros, es bueno saber que el pop británico - al que muchos daban por muerto - aún está alive and kicking, como diría Jim Kerr, vocalista de Simple Minds. Para los fanáticos de la banda, The Boy With No Name es una reafirmación de la calidad, buen gusto y el excelente sonido que han mostrado en sus discos anteriores (esta vez con Nigel Godrich tras las perillas, que más se puede esperar ¿no?). Un disco molto atteso sia dai numerosi ammiratori che dai detrattori della band scozzese, dopo l'insuccesso del precedente album "12 Memories", un disco cupo ed eccessivamente malinconico realizzato in mezzo a vari problemi personali dei componenti del gruppo e in cui venivano affrontate tematiche politiche e sociali.Le recensioni di questo disco, su internet e riviste inglesi, sono molte e non tutte lusinghiere. Anzi diverse esprimono un giudizio negativo sull'album, e a volte anche sulla stessa band, considerandolo un lavoro non degno di nota. It's right in the middle of Rock and and a smooth Piano Ballad, but the whole time it stays true to be complete bliss.
