2008-06-11 00:00:00 In light of my last post and freaking out I decided to stop in a local pizza place that had been advertising for part time help on their flyer?s to see if they would hire me for a couple evenings a week. The lady pretty much laughed at me. Said she mainly hires mouthy teenage boys that I would have to deal with and pointed out it gets easily over a hundred degrees in there in the summer time. I told her I could handle the heat and the boys with out a problem but when I said I have mostly just office experience, I could see the look on her face. It was like yeah, right! She said she would keep me in mind but I doubt I?ll hear from her. I am pretty bummed because it?s literally a couple blocks from my house.
