Although it has its flaws, it does a good job of providing a high level view of a website’s popularity in relation to all the other websites on the internet. I ran some 5 year charts on Chrysler.com, dodge.com, and jeep.com according to popularity ranking which ranks popular websites against one another. Today, Chrysler has a traffic ranking of 26,120. Dodge.com is ranked 12,859, and Jeep is ranked 22,147. To give you some perspective, Google, Yahoo, Youtube.com, and Myspace.com are the top four ranked sites. From the charts below, it looks like Chrysler.com hit its peak ranking in mid-2005 and it has been downhill ever since. Similar decline can be seen in jeep.com.
