2008-01-14 18:04:00 This ab exercise is often overlooked. It is an advanced abdominal exercise, therefore it is very important that you keep your lower back stable. Do not arch your back during this exercise. If you can't do it correctly, then you shouldn’t do it at all. Stand on a chair and grip the handles to stabilize your upper body. Press your back against the pad and slowly lift knees towards your chest. Again make sure to keep your lower back firmly in place - otherwise you won't be strengthening your abs, but your hip muscles. You should also feel the tightening and burning in your abs after a few reps. If you don't, you're probably not doing the exercise properly. read more

2008-01-10 17:26:00 The infamous and inept "Captain Jack Sparrow" burglar who was taped by surveillance cameras while attempting to break in the Perk Central coffee shop in Lakewood, WA. last fall has turned himself in. He had a dislocated knee caused by the repeated failed attempts to break the coffee shop door open.The coffee shop owner was so amused by the incident he posted the video on the internet and even narrated it, naming the burglar "Captain Jack Sparrow", because of the pirate-like clothes he had on.Here's the video. You can see near the end of it how the crook tries a running kick at the door, but collapses to the ground after apparently hurting his knee. After the defeat of South Africa by New Zealand, it would be somehow easier but they need to defeat South Africa which is a great challenge. England has lost against New Zealand, Australia and Sri Lanka. The main cause for these defeats seems to be Michael Vaughan.Michael Vaughan is not a good ODI player. It is said by his performance. He has not scored any century till now and seems that he cannot play confident cricket in ODI. He just seems to struggle to get runs. He cannot free his arms and hit a shot. He is a good performer in tests but not in ODI.England have thrown Trescothick out of the team and have dropped Andrew Strauss in some world cup matches due to bad form. What about Vaughan? Andrew Strauss and Trescothick should be given another chance. In rest of the world cup matches, it is better for England to drop Vaughan and play Strauss as the opener along with Ed Joyce.
