2008-02-27 09:48:00 To all those people who think John Lennon is dead, I have to say: well that’s a fact. But I don’t think his voice is. And by voice, I don’t mean the immortality of his soul and his history making personality. What I exactly mean is: His Voice! And you can hear him sing as the vocalist of The Clientele. On their 2007’s God Save the Clientele, not only the voice, but the rhythms and melodies are vividly Beatles (and vividly sung by John Lennon). I think Lennon is singing through Alasdair MacLean’s lungs. Putting all these words away, the wintry mood has a positive effect on me, because as I have mentioned a thousand times before, winter is my favorite season of the year because of his stable calmness that lasts more than any other time of the year. And I think on “I Hope I know” with whispering “Frozen” in its background you can probably hear me.
