This time around, they are doing a two concert series called "The Long and Short of it." I think it's rather clever. One day (11/3) is the "Long of It" concert where they will play their epic eight-minute plus songs and then the next day (11/4) is the "Short of It" concert where they will be playing their shorter more pop-type songs.The concerts are going to be held at the Orpheum Theater on 11/3-11/4 (Saturday and Sunday) and tickets go on sale tomorrow 9/8 @ 10am EST. This is the latest video from the album Crane Wife (which is excellent btw), and is almost 10min long, but don't worry every second is worth the while. E logo no início nota-se uma descida na tonalidade indie para uma vocalização mais amaciada e acordes mais pop, apesar de gostar mais das tonalidades anteriores, este albúm até não está mau, conseguindo ainda demonstrar algum do carisma que os Decemberists nos habituaram no passado, mas mas... esta mudança de certeza que vai afastar uns quantos fans e receber uns tantos outros, cá para mim a mossa foi na volta dos 30%, o que já é bastante para uma banda que apreciava bastante. Desde os "power-chords" "à-la" The Who logo na primeira faixa a demonstrar claramente a mudança sónica da banda, para o mix estranho logo a seguir na faixa 2 que apesar de tudo resulta e ainda na faixa 5, tendências dança e funk a dominar.
