We’ll start with CD of the Year candidate The Good, the Bad & the Queen, fronted by former Blur and Gorillaz auteur Damon Albarn, who’s shaping up as one of the true geniuses of our age. 2007-06-18 11:54:00 Aunque Burn The Maps sea ya su quinto álbum de estudio, hayan grabado con Steve Albini, girado por EEUU con Damien Rice, tengan discos de platino en sus estanterías y hayan sido considerados como la mejor banda de Irlanda en 2004, The Frames siguen siendo, por desgracia, unos grandes desconocidos en nuestro país.12 temas y 57 minutos que se abren con la delicada "Happy" dirigida por un solemne piano y arropada por los omnipresentes arreglos de cuerda de Colm MacConlomaire. Después "Finally"?, intensa y dulce a la vez con un Glen Hansard desbocado cantando desde el corazón y destrozándose la garganta en cada estribillo.
