CNN quotes a "source" close to Al saying he won't run against Hillary's well-oiled machine. A Gallup poll indicates there's no "clarion call" [Nancy Pelosi pressed her privates against a washing machine mid-spin cycle upon hearing the news] for Gore. Whoever's fronting the Draft Gore campaign wasted thousands of bucks with a full-page ad in the New York Times. Predictably conservatives like Rush Limbaugh minimize the honor for "a movie" and view the award as a slap against Bush by the liberal Norwegian Nobel Prize major domos. Here's a list of previous winners, including terrorist thug Yasser Arafat (1994) and wussy, verbose moralist Jimmy Carter (2002) going back to 1901!
