Danger Doom - The Mouse And the Mask
2008-03-01 15:36:00 Danger Doom is the collaboration of two of the biggest contemporary hip-hop figures: Danger Mouse and MF Doom. The two have come together to make music on Cartoon Network’s late night show Adult Swim. This is what I call quality hip-hop, a record to have fun with and enjoy even for non-hip-hop fans. Looks like a supergroup to me, already. I found them on FaceBook first (Facebook is starting a music service for artists to promote their music and users can become fans easily). The Mouse And The Mask features collaborations with Cee-Lo (Gnarls Barkley), Ghostface Killah and Talib Kweli. This is simply awesome and I enjoyed it all the way (knowing I’m not a good hip-hop listener but somehow this can be a starting point to this genre for me) and I think I’m going to get Kanye West and Lupe Fiasco as well. Although the album is released in 2005 but sounds fresh to me, lol. Ya homes!
