Please Excuse The Mess Over the Next Few Days, Upgrading The Site To Versio
2008-05-16 00:00:00
As you probly know, ever since the debut of this Super Shredder-like website its been full of bugs, at times slow and sometimes just down completely. Well, I got tired of this kind of sh#@! pretty quickly so for the past few weeks, Pallian and I have been workin??? on a new site???that???s right, Version 4???this is the one that???s gonna last longer than the first one (4 months), version 2 (2 months) and version 3 (2 weeks). Obviously the trend is going in the wrong direction, but it don???t matter cuz we???re tired of building new sites all the time so this is it! And we???re getting a new host too cuz our traffic is just breakin??? out (only halfway through this month and we’re already waaay past February’s #s) (yeah advertisers, get on it!) as if our name was Kentucky Pyramid Oil Co (PDO) As soe of you might have noticed, you can get a small taste of the new design HERE. What’s infinitely more important is that our new host, those bad asses over at Mosso.com, t...

2008-05-08 17:46:00
O Barqueiro has launched its brand new site. The highly popular seafood restaurant located on the sunny south coast of Madeira island is the locale of choice for many celebrities. The site has been developed by Joomla specialists “Navega Bem - Web Design” who are also located in Funchal, Madeira. The site is very visual and incorporates many images of the special guests who choose to dine at ‘O Barqueiro”. Reservations can be made on the site and the menus for food, wine and cigars are available. Site designer Sara Lomelino explained “The site is under constant revision and is being updated almost daily. There is so much going on at the restaurant and we want to share it all with the site viewers”. View the site at www.marisqueirabarqueiro.com and see Floribella, João Pedro Pais, Tony Carreira and many more celebrities.

Again with the site cleanup..
2008-04-11 00:00:00
So I got bored again, go figure. I wrote some code that converts my titles into 'slugs' much like wordpress. I then altered my blog table to include it as an index, wrote a quick script to parse my titles and insert them and changed my templates to link via them. Throw in some rewrite magic and wala; hot sauce. I'm glad I wrote this code base to be simple to manage and extend :). I'm kinda curious how it would fair from a security standpoint, however. Maybe I should just write it off and go ahead with something already baked; but it's fun to muck around like this. Also, I'd like to appologize for anyone subscribing via a reader. It'll mark all my posts as unread due to the changes. Sorry!

Cash Crate - the Site that Keeps on Paying!
2008-04-06 04:05:00
I've written a few entries about the Survey & Get-Paid-to site called Cash Crate here. Since joining, I've received 5 checks from Kingside Media, but that was way back when I was actually filling out their surveys. Recently, I've seen money come in from the site without even logging into it (other than to check stats). That's what makes it a great site to belong to, because it keeps on paying, whether you're active on it or not. All you need is referrals. The beauty of Cash Crate is their referral system. You start out by earning % commission on any of your referrals' earnings. Once you've referred 50 members to the site, you begin to receive a 25% commission for anything any of those active referrals does (surveys, offers, etc). So let's say 1 member earns their $10 to get paid. That means you've earned $2.50 and are 1/4 of the way towards another easy check for the month. The more active members you have referred the better...If at least 4 people are earning $...

Designing a house begins with the site it sits on - Singapore
2008-03-16 15:43:00
Designing a house begins with the site it sits on  - Singapore Each has its own look and feel, which dictate the design, developer Satinder Garcha says By Joyce Teo, Property Correspondent  FAMOUS BAGHDAD-BORN ARCHITECT ZAHA HADID was persuaded to design Mr Satinder Garcha’s two Nassim Road bungalows and they will feature her radically modern approach to design. Note the houses’ cast-iron shells. — PHOTO: ZAHA HADID ARCHITECTS     AN AVID polo player - he is the captain of the Singapore team - Mr Satinder Garcha, 37, is also a landed property developer, albeit a relatively new one. In the three years since his first Singapore property was completed, he has built up a sizeable portfolio of 22 properties, many of which are being developed. He will build more on a $78.7 million strip of land at Sentosa Cove. My Blog Internet Explorer Cannot Open the Site, Found Out Not Alone Other B
2008-02-06 21:48:00
Something happened yesterday saying on my blog that internet explorer cannot open the site. I freaked out thinking it is something I did on my site. After erasing many things off my site like ads, html and JavaScript codes. I found this happened to other blogs on the net too. It looks like it was widespread thing so I don?t feel so bad. It looks like it is working normal today. That is scary when the blog is not working right it really scared me. I am very glad it is working good today. I guess my blog needed a makeover anyway with doing that maybe I will change it up some now.
Sixpack: The Site Is In France
2008-01-31 04:53:00
I don't know French, which means I was only able to figure out two things about Sixpack France when I checked out their site.1. They are in France.2. They have some very awesome shirts. But when it comes down to it, that's all I really need to know. If I want a shirt with huge text (in perfect colors, too) to tell the world that I'm reppin' to the fullest (and of course I always am) then Sixpack has got me covered. But they've got a wide variety of clothing offered, and it extends right to my personal weakness: cool illustrations on bright shirts (like that awesome witch shirt that has a name I can't pronounce). You know, I'm almost glad I can't figure out the exchange rate for these prices, because I doubt I could afford it anyway. It's better just to window shop and feel international. My other favorite non-English shopping destination: A Better Tomorrow, Germany's streetwear source.

You’re doubtless wondering why this site is loading so slowly today; it’s basically locking up because last night we de-commissioned one of our Web servers, and since then all hell has broken loose. We’re trying desperately to fix the problem, but it’s not an easy fix by any means - much of the code references ...
Redesigning the Site
2008-01-01 23:35:00
I’m redesigning the website now…but I’m not really sure what I want it to be. Soledad O'Brien, "The Site" MSNBC host: Mr. Media Interview Classic
2007-11-17 23:16:00
Originally published June 16, 1997 This is gonna burst a lot of geek hearts, but Soledad O'Brien, host of MSNBC's nightly cable TV show "The Site", is not one of you. And wait, it gets worse: She's married. Happily.O'Brien, the cyber-dream date of a generation of guys living in the basement of the science building, may give the impression she's been surfing the Web for years, but the truth is that before she got the job, it was all Greek Geek to her."I sort of raised that point quite gingerly when I had my interview with NBC," she admits. "I was sort of like, 'I don't know if you read my resume, but I really am not all that familiar with technology.' " She hadn't been online at all, let alone being able to know the difference between Netscape Navigator and Internet Explorer. "On a scale of one to 10, technology-wise," she says, "I was probably a two, maybe a three on a good day.Naturally, the show's producers said, great, that's what we are looking for. The site Paris.fr has a television
2007-11-08 12:17:00
The city of Paris has a website very well done and updated daily. I recently realized they also have a Paris.fr television!!All the videos are uploaded on dailymotion, so you either watch them on the video's site or on the Paris's site. The quality is good, much better than a lot of videos you find on these kind of sites. The topics are from the different festivals and activities found in the city, to how to get online in Paris, and an interview of a French actress... The topics are so broad that you will probably find the one you are interested in.Unfortunately, all theses videos are in French. But I found a solution for my dear English speaking readers. The same site (paris.fr) offers a tour - yes in English - of the Hotel de Ville (Townhall).Quite exclusive I must say!:)
