A través de un mensaje publicado en la página oficial de The Strokes, Nikolai Fraiture, bajista de la banda anunció que pronto regresarán al estudio de grabaciones a trabajar en su cuarto disco.“Me gustaría decir que aún veo muy avanzado el lanzamiento del cuarto material. Solamente tenemos que resolver unas cuestiones técnicasâ€, explica Fraiture, quien agregó además que el tiempo libre que la banda tomó como descanso luego de su tour mundial fue necesario para que todos regresaran a trabajar juntos como una banda productiva.Se espera que este material que será sucesor de First Impressions Of Earth del 2006, salga a finales de este año. The Strokes - Room of Fire - 2003 (31.42 MB)2do disco desta bandita q grabara un apreciable álbum (Is This it, 2001), fueron bautizados con cuanto nombre se nos ocurriera, sin saberlo y sin quererlo fueron el cambio de las modas q el nuevo milenio tenía en manos, se iniciaba el rock independiente otra vez, las Converse y la moda retro imperaba. Mucho sesperaba deste disco, ya q ERAN LOS SALVADORES DEL ROCK y nosotros "supuestamente" esperábamos q estos chicos de New York nos guiaran por buen camino de rock and roll. En las primeras escuchas el disco repite la receta del primer disco, no eran innovadores, habían crecido como banda y en composición a cargo de Casablancas q "QUERIA SER OLVIDADO Y NO QUERIA SER RECORDADO", pero no era suficiente como para gustarle a todo el mundo, aunq resulta adictivo los temas deste disco, regular para otros y para mí, en su momento y aun hoy en día lo escucho con mucho cariño, no es un discazo pero lo escucho como si lo fuera. Here's yet another awesome cover performed on BBC's Radio 1. If you follow Mark Ronson's radio show, an up-and-coming musician named Adele has probably been on your radar for a while now. If you haven't heard of her, most people compare her to Amy Winehouse. To me, she sounds exactly halfway between Winehouse and Sia (both of whom have shown up on this blog multiple times). God bless whoever Youtubed this cover yesterday, because it's so loveable. Adele did an acoustic-jazz-like cover of "Last Nite" by The Strokes, and shows off the ridiculous amount of charisma she has. Her Ronson collaboration, called "Cold Shoulder" is also really cool, and if you like this, I really recommend seeking out the bootleg. I'll post an audio stream as soon as I get the chance.

Nueva semana de listas en el grupo de Last.fm, y he decidido seguir hablando sobre algunos de los grupos que aparencen en el mismo.
