Thierry Mugler Alien Eau Luminescente ~ new perfume
2008-03-11 18:53:00 Thierry Mugler has launched Alien Eau Luminescente, a new limited edition flanker to 2005's Alien fragrance. The original Alien was inspired by amethyst, Alien Eau Luminescente was inspired by topaz. Alien Eau Luminescente is described as a "fresh, floral amber scent". It was developed by perfumer Dominique Ropion (who also worked on the original Alien perfume) and features notes of mandarin, tiaré flower (gardenia) and white amber. Alien Eau Luminescente is available now on the French Thierry Mugler online boutique, in 60 ml Eau de Toilette, and is expected to go into wider distribution in late March/early April. 2008-02-19 23:22:00 Thierry Mugler has launched AngelMen (aka A*Men) Pure Coffee, a limited edition variation on the original A*Men fragrance with an overdose of coffee: AngelMEN Pure Coffee, a new interpretation of AngelMEN's signature note of gourmet coffee beans, is a woody-coffee-oriental fragrance-created using a new carbon-dioxide extraction methodology where strong Arabic coffee was removed directly from the seed. "It's less vanilla with a more modern, woodsy blend," said Pierre Aulas, olfactive consultant for Thierry Mugler. A*Men Pure Coffee was developed by perfumer Jacques Huclier, who also created the original A*Men scent in 1996. The notes include arabica coffee, musk, patchouli, moss, cedar and vetiver. Thierry Mugler A*Men Pure Coffee is available in 100 ml Eau de Toilette for $65. It can be purchased now overseas, and should be available in the United States by April. 2007-10-31 16:15:00 The National Toxic Encephalopathy Foundation (NTEF) is intensifying its controversial campaign against Clarins' Angel Parfum with claims that it contains a dangerous ingredient and should therefore be reclassified as a drug by the FDA. The Las Vegas-based interest group claims that Angel Parfum fits the FDA definition of a health hazard because it contains the scent Coumarin, which it considers to be a dangerous poison. ?
