Also came with some real cute stickers. First thing we did when we received the clothes, we wash the clothes by first submerging it in a pail of water. As expected, the color ran. But that is understandable due to the color of the T-shirts.

Threadless Says Goodbye to American Apparel, Fruit of the Loom
2008-02-20 17:03:00 On yesterday's newsletter, Threadless announces that it will print all new winning designs on its own brand T-shirt garment instead of using brands like the usual American Apparel (AA) and Fruit of the Loom (FotL). This maybe sad news for those who already feel comfortable with AA or FotL T-shirts -- although Threadless own custom prints it's not that bad either; it has softer feel and decent durability (I've bought one myself) What important though is having its own tee will hopefully give Threadless better control over stocks. My only bad experience shopping on Threadless was when I want to buy a not-so-oldie tee shirt but often, they're already sold out and ask for reprint instead. And that's so frustrating. In long term, it's a worth a good investment too I believe especially as the company grow bigger. I look forward to the day when Threadless competing with American Apparel and Fruit of the Loom or Hanes as blank tee shirt supplier. Why not? I don't think it's impo...

A couple of days ago, they announced some really interesting news, with the annual Threadless Awards being the most important of all. The annual Threadless Awards will start from this current year and the the winners will probably be announced in January or February of 2008. There are going to be around 10-20 categories like "Most Groundbreaking Design", "Best Gallery Photo", "Most Dedicated Blogger" etc. What I think is very important in these awards event is that Threadless gives back to its community. Threadless Select: The Future Is Feeling
2007-10-23 01:39:00 The latest from Threadless Select, today's release features The Future Is Feeling, a t-shirt and matching headband from Montreal-based artist Neil Doshi. While the regular Threadless shirts rely on the community to vote on the winning submitted designs, the Select shirts are invite only, and bypass the typical Threadless voting process. They hand-pick artists and designers who they think excel in their fields to do an anything-goes tee that can use up to 10 colors, as well as interesting materials like puff, glow and foils on (thankfully) American Apparel shirts. In addition, they're now encouraging the artists to come up with "extras" to come with the designs, like Doshi's shamanistic headgear.

Threadless shirts I wish would be reprinted
2007-09-18 17:25:00 Threadless is one of my favorite websites, and definitely my favorite apparel related one. It isn't quite the largest business, (although it has grown by leaps and bounds in the past year or two) which means that their supply of shirts is often sadly lacking. This is offset by the amazing amount of new shirts being added each week, along with a few reprints decided by user request. I like to wait to until they have a sale, when shirts are marked down from $15 each to only $10, which saves a lot of money. This presents a problem in that shirts I like often sell out before I place my order. Threadless offers a system whereby shirts with the most requests are reprinted.
