2008-04-24 05:05:00 Why is this week going so slow? It is taking forever!Time passes so slowly now. It's not like I don't have anything to do. I do, tons of things in fact; yet there's this feeling like something's missing somewhere.Weird. I complain that time passes slow when actually most of the time I find 24 hours a day is not enough. It's ironic though; when I want the time to stop so that I can savour the moment, it passes really fast and the next thing I know the fun times are over. When I want the time to pass by fast, it slows down. In fact, I think the clock has just gone dead.I keep thinking that everyday is Friday; because I keep on wishing that I don't have to go to work the next day.Work. It's such a drag. 2007-10-29 22:39:00 I always loved spending time with my great grandmother when I was growing up. She always cooked great big meals, even if it was just the two of us. We would spend the evenings talking, mainly her telling me memories from years past, and then we would go to bed as soon as the sun went down. Her house was full of antiques that were fought over after she died back in 1995. I never understood why everyone was so upset over getting this and that, I don’t get it to this day. All I wanted was to have her back alive. The thing that caused the biggest fuss was the grandfather clock that she had put away in the guest room. It belonged to her father and she always took great care to make sure none of us kids went near it. I know now that it was probably worth a lot of money, and that’s what all the fuss was about. The clock she had looked very similar to the Bulova Rutland Grandfather Clock. It was really beautiful. I would like to buy that one to have in my living room to remember...

I hate working Saturdays, but I sure do enjoy the day off during the week. I had a doctor's appointment tomorrow, but I cancelled that because I don't want my day off to be interrupted by anything. I know, that's what my day off is for - doctor's appointments and other things I normally can't do during the week because of work, but I really just want to enjoy my day and not have to worry about any outside obligations for the thirty-nine hours I have away from this place.
