Tony Snow Remembered On "Face The Nation"
2008-07-15 02:21:00 A person who passed too young, former White House Press Secretary Tony Snow, was remembered on CBS' "Face The Nation":
Remembering Tony Snow
2008-07-14 16:15:00 In my humble opinion, Tony Snow had as much — if not more — impact on the American political landscape as Tim Russert. Both were kind, big-hearted family men with a unbridled passion for the country they lived in and tried to make a better place from their positions of influence. One was a life-long liberal (Russert) and received ...

Tony Snow Passes Into History
2008-07-12 18:43:00 -By Warner Todd Huston It was said of Abraham Lincoln upon his passing that “now he belongs to the ages,” and that is the same sentiment I find myself feeling upon learning that Tony Snow has died of colon cancer today at age 53. The Bush administration released a statement through current press secretary Dana Perino, she ...

Flag At Half-Mast For Tony Snow, May He Rest In Peace
2008-07-12 17:52:00 Former Bush II White House Press Secretary Succumbs To Colon Cancer Battle At Age 53 That’s right, I’M flying the flag at half-mast for Tony Snow today. It’s my choice and the man deserves no less, as far as I’m concerned. Was the man bipartisan? Not really. Partisan? Not really. Nevertheless, Tony Snow always had my personal respect and always will despite some ideological differences, which will remain firmly in place. How can one NOT respect a fellow American Citizen, whom in many ways, held radically different views, yet, had a unique gift of seeking, finding and highlighting the humorous aspect within that disagreement? When Tony Snow was announced as the Press Secretary for President Bush, I was shocked. So many times on his radio show and serving his “gig” at FoxNews, he readily and regularly pointed out his own numerous differences with general policies of the Bush White House, yet, President Bush chose him to be his official &ldqu...

"Bait Show With David Letterman"
2007-10-06 18:59:00 Tony Snow didn't bite. The former WH press secretary went on Letterman last night. Tony looks great! Was funny. Letterman asked him about some of the reporter questions he got at WH press briefings. "Some of them were paint-peeling stupid," he laughed. But on the whole, he acknowledged the press corps is a smart lot. Snow recalled how he was pummeled into taking the gig by WH chief of staff Josh Bolten. "I was sucked into it," admits Tony. Bolten badgered him with phone calls. Finally Tony relented and went to the WH. He was secreted inside a SUV with blacked-out windows to confound nosy reporters and spirited to the residence where a laid-back Bush blurted: "By the way, you wanna work here?" [Watch the Letterman video]The liberal Huffington Post Veg-O-Matic pulled out the clip headlined: Tony Laughs To Letterman About "Days Filled With Terror" At White House Job." Tony Snow Gives Final Press Briefing
2007-09-12 21:19:00 White House Press Secretary Tony Snow conducted his final on-camera press briefing this afternoon. When asked by a member of the press core if he had any regrets he replied, “The only regret is that I am unable to stay longer.” Tony Snow announced on August 30th that he would be leaving his position at the White House, citing financial reasons. He claims he told the President from the very beginning that he would stay as long as he was financially able. Snow was a broadcaster and newspaper columnist. After years of regular guest-hosting for The Rush Limbaugh Show and providing news commentary for National Public Radio, he launched his own talk radio program, The Tony Snow Show, which went on to become nationally syndicated. He was also a regular personality on Fox News Channel since 1996, hosting Fox News Sunday, Weekend Live, and often substituting as host of The O’Reilly Factor. -Chris Jones Share This

Tony Snow Resigns! (video)
2007-09-01 05:03:00 At the bottom is CNN video about the Tony Snow resignation. What I found incredibly telling though was the quote from Allahpundit at Hot Air. It is a perfect example of how our President has lost support from most of his base. And I agree with him. Snow must have been drowning in horseshit the last couple of years. ~RJH HotAir article link Breaking: Tony Snow resigns effective September 14; Update: Press conference video added (video at HotAir) posted at 11:55 am on August 31, 2007 by Allahpundit Just across on Fox. President Bush Commutes Libby?s Prison Term
2007-07-05 01:18:00 On Monday, President Bush commuted I. Lewis ?Scooter? Libby?s 30 month prison term due to the fact he thought the sentence was ?harsh? and ?excessive?. The former chief of staff to Vice President Bush did not receive a full pardon from President Bush but will not have to serve the 30 months in prison. Libby was denied his attempt to remain at home while his appeal was taking place by a federal appeals court in Washington but President Bush granted Libby a commute so he will not have to serve any of his sentence. The commuting did not erase the $250,000 fine he was ordered to pay by the court and two years probation. Conservatives that wanted a full pardon were enraged and critics of the administration thought it was another major contradiction of the way his justice department has been run. The administration had previously been taking a hard line when it came to federal sentencing. Senator Joe Biden said, ?Why is the president flip-flopping on these criminal j...

2007-07-03 06:45:00 Motiveless Crime is on an upswing (to put it mildly). The site has grown in readership in a very dramatic way recently, which hopefully is a sign that the content provided here is hitting a mark with people across the world. So far I have avoided posting the site on social networking sites such as Digg and Del.icio.us because I really wanted the site to prove itself first. Today it did just that. Soon social bookmarking sites will be integrated into the site but will be removed if they prove to not be useful.Earlier when MC was still in development we used AdSense to try and gain a profit. When you spend all day working on a site and its content, you have to hope that it will someday turn a profit. AdSense, a Google creating, has since been removed because after a large number of page impressions it appeared that Google wasn't giving any credit to the site. Therefore Motiveless Crime is currently completely devoid of advertisements or paid posts. This may not always be the case but...
