My Reiki Top Ten List
2008-05-03 15:07:00 Because I was awarded the "E" award (see the sidebar folks!), I was also charged with the responsibility to post my top ten list for the award. So, Elizabeth Grace, here it is. These websites are all in my blogroll, but I chose my ten favorites, and described them more, and here they are. All are excellent, and I recommend spending time at each one. 1. http://www.aetw.org/ - James Deacon?s Reiki web resource. This is the most informative website I?ve ever come across. It has information about every type of Reiki, the history of Reiki, how to do many types of meditation, Reiki symbols, and many, many articles about Reiki. It is completely text-based, but I can?t recommend anything more than this website.2. http://www.hallsofreiki.com/ The Halls of Reiki is a very friendly site about Reiki. Forbes top ten list of least efficient luxury barges goes to 11, I mean 21!
2008-03-31 22:03:00 After recently compiling a dubious list of the most technologically advanced green cars, Forbes is at it again. They've produced a list purporting to be the least efficient luxury cars. This bottom ten list actually numbers twenty-one cars including most of the Audi S models, BMW's M-fleet and Mercedes AMG bombers. The only car on the list not originating from the land of the autobahn is the Cadillac STS-V. They came up with so many cars by including rides that were tied with the same mileage as one position on the list. While being on the list is undoubtedly somewhat embarassing for these three German brands, the list is unfortunately incomplete and fails to include some even bigger offenders. The editors failed to catch the entire lineups from both Maybach and Bentley. Then there are of course the exotics from the likes of Ferrari and Lamborghini. Maybe next time. [Source: Forbes]

10 CRAZY THINGS I'VE SEEN WHILE PREACHING
2007-05-29 14:36:00 I've preached a lot of sermons over the past 20 years. I've seen a lot of "crazy" things while preaching. Here are 10...People sleeping (of course).A child playing a Gameboy.A man on the front pew clipping his toe nails. My zipper unzipped.A man doubled-over in pain in the foyer at the back of the auditorium and unable to get any ones attention to help him.One of my children "wave" at me.People listening intently (thankfully). The electricity goes off and it becomes pitch black. Someone lit a small candle, placed it on the pulpit and I was told to keep preaching, so I did. Hearing the "snap" of a mouse-trap in the empty baptistery behind me and then hearing the "screeching" of a dieing rat through the rest of the sermon (during a gospel meeting at a little country church). A man getting so tickled at something I said that I had to stop and let him catch his breath before continuing.
