Then they'll have the best of both worlds - no motorcycle helmets, and be allowed to carry knives.I can appreciate Mr. Badesha's desire to remain true to his faith. However, in a society with publicly funded safety net (I'm talking about our health care system), we are all our brother's keepers. While Mr. Badesha is willing to "take the risk to follow his Sikh tenets", the question remains: who's going to pay for his health care (and disability benefits) if and when he is in a serious accident? Finally, his point about people dying in car accidents is nonsensical. Yes, fatalities occur in automobiles. However, the number of deaths would vastly increase if people didn't follow the proper safety measures - which is why people are ticketed for not wearing seat belts, speeding, etc.I th...
