The major difference between the Camaros and Mustangs racing here and in the Rolex series is the engine - the Mustang has raced for several years with an engine that is not a production engine, against competitors with production engines. Unfair? Yes. Would it have been competitive otherwise? Apparently not, since Ford saw fit to force a non-production engine thru the sanctioning bodies.
