Great trail or show prospect
2008-06-08 22:36:00 Willy is a great horse, has been professionally trained, will ride western but prefers english. He is great with voice commands and pressure, direct reins, excellent ground manners. Could make good show prospect with further training. Willy is not spooky, very intelligent, loves the trails and loves to learn, not aggressive with other horses. Can be a bit unpredictable and requires an experienced rider. He does better with women, once he trusts you will do just about anything for you. Must go to good home.

Walking trail coming to Ironwood
2008-06-07 18:20:00 A recent survey of Ironwood citizens found that more walking trails were a top recreational concern. The City of Ironwood Recreation Committee has presented a proposal for a walking trail system to the City Planning Commission which will hopefully be approved as soon as possible. The trail will run from Riverside Cemetery, hugging the Montreal River as much as possible, out to Norrie Park on the south end of town. Deer trails can be followed in some areas, just brushed and expanded to about 30". The trail won't be blacktopped and motor vehicles will not be allowed to use the trail. The plan is to start the project in the cemetery which will contain a loop that is 1.5 miles long. The second phase would extend the trail from the cemetery to Norrie Park and be 4.5 miles long. Much of that trail will follow along the old railroad beds with a short stretch of sidewalk along Hemlock St. It will go through the Scott St. neighborhood and the Caves area. ...

He has been ridden mostly on the trails and western, but his carriage is likely better suited to english as is the custom of an Arabian. He has been ridden in arenas and shown before I had him. You would never guess his 20 years when you see him. These photos were just taken this month. He truly would be an asset to any arabian enthusiasts and would make an excellent novice endurance or competitive trail rider. And, since nobody else was able to duplicate the results, cold fusion has since become a synonym for pseudo-science. But that may be about to change. Jon Cartwright of the physicsworld blog reports that Yoshiaki Arata, a retired physics professor at Osaka University and his partner, Yue-Chang Zhang, have demonstrated what appears to be a repeatable experiment that involves forcing deuterium into an evacuated cell containing a sample of palladium dispersed in zirconium oxide. According to Arata, the deuterium is absorbed by the sample in large enough amounts to force the deuterium nuclei to become close enough to fuse. flashy and Fun trail horse, very nice disposition
2008-05-27 08:50:00 Tango is a 14 year old mare. She is a great trail horse and lots of fun to ride. She is very easy to handle and has a great disposition. We think she is a paso paint cross and she shuffles a little at the trot if you use a heavier bit. However, we ride her in a plain snaffle or a hackmore and she does just fine. She will cross water, go down steep embankments and over logs without hesitation. She has been through extensive desentizing and is not afraid of vehicles, 4-wheelers, plastic, tarps or loud noises. She would do great in fun shows and parades as well as trail ride all day long. She is very easy to bathe and trim and is great with her feet. She is current on her shots and worming. He still enjoys loping around and she doesn't put a foot wrong.She was shown locally by a 7 year old girl.Used extensively working cattle and other livestock.
