He had 60 days last summer and 30 this past spring. He has a slow pitter patter jog, but his lope will need finishing. He is content to walk and jog. He needs more time with an experienced rider on trails. He's doing okay, but can still be a little unsure about things at times. I do not have the time to put into him right now because I'm working with my 2 year old and taking my daughter to shows. Spirit is easy to handle. On her 8th ride I rode her in a big arena with 25 horses and it didn't bother her one bit, and I also just jump on her with only a halter and lead rope and ride her around. And to an addition to her great mind she is very athletic, packs her head low naturally, and a pretty mover, she is especially smooth to ride! Make her your next reining or cutting prospect! Anyone will be lucky to have her! May be homezygous for the black and cremello gene. Unfortunatley we do not breed appendix quarterhorses any more and have decided to just go pure quarterhorses now so that means Polly has to go. She has raced on the track and has approximately 10,000.00 CDN in earnings. We bought her straight off the track and started using her for western and english lessons. She jumps, trailrides, and has been started on some dressage training. She is not for a beginner but she is not a hot headed thoroughbred either. She hauls and farriers great.
