Kevin and Daniel Hageman are writing the latest version of the screenplay for this film that has been in development for several years at Sony. Culton's previous experience is mostly limited to directing Open Season and working in the art and animation departments on a number of Pixar productions. Or it could be the result of the countless images of werewolves, old crumbling castles, and vampires haunting my nightmares at an early age. The Bran Castle, located on cliffs in central Romania, was once home to the man who inspired Bram Stoker's Dracula. Archduke Dominic Habsburg, after being turned down by the government to sell the property for 80 million dollars has put the family estate on the market for the right buyer, in the right circumstances. Habsburg hopes that the castle will remain true to the history of his relative Vlad, who is famous for the insidious torture of his enemies and drinking their blood. The new resident, according to the 69 year old Archduke, will likely be an intellectual cannibal, or vampire enthusiast.
